2015 - I contributed various features and patches to the existing ChiPy website, which is a Heroku-hosted website. The source code is available at github. One large contribution I made to the site is the ChiPy Sponsor framework which allows ChiPy to acknowledge meeting sponsors and Platinum sponsors on the website. I also integrated Amazon S3 support to host updated media files. Another contribution staged for deployment is the site upgrade to Django 1.8.
As the Head of the Technology Department at Imaginary Landscape, I've developed and contributed to dozens of websites. Since I started there in 2010, I've had a hand in backend development, frontend development, sysadmin and devops activities, project estimation, project planning, client interaction, management, and more. 2012 - Jazstudios.com currently hosts this site. It is a Django-based site that leverages Django CMS, Django Photologue, Django-Recaptcha, and a variety of other Django modules.
For my wedding in November 2014, I put together a wedding website. This is a very basic Django website hosted on Heroku.
2011 - For a graduate Computer Science class SE560, I wrote a Django-based peer-to-peer application that is hosted on Amazon and designed to interact with other class member's peer-to-peer apps. Using this tool, I learned more about XSLT, XML validation and other document-centric operations preformed by the lxml python package. Source code located on Github.
2011 - As part of the Apps for Metro Chicago competition, I created a GeoDjango-backed webservice that helps users locate various locations around where they click on the map or near CTA transit stops. This application pulls and parses data from community data sources to populate a local database. Source Code located on Github.
